App Privacy Policy

Introduction

At Writing Tracker we respect your privacy and aim to minimize the collection of your personal information. This privacy policy explains what information we collect from you when you use our app, how we use it, and your options for reviewing and correcting the information. In this Privacy Policy, "Writing Tracker," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the developers and owners of Writing Tracker, while "app" refers to the Writing Tracker application and its related services. "You" refers to you as a user of the application, as applicable.

Who Can Access Writing Tracker Projects?

Your projects are entirely yours, and we do not have any access to them under any circumstances. All the content you create in Writing Tracker is only saved on your device and in your iCloud account for syncing purposes.

What Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect solely information that is necessary to improve our product. We do NOT share any data with third-party services.

Diagnostic Data (Anonymous & Optional). To help identify and solve specific problems with our app, we occasionally solicit diagnostic reports and other troubleshooting, bug, and crash reports. This information is completely anonymous and refers only to the operation of the app. We do not collect any data from your projects or anything you have written in the app. - Legal basis Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Email, and App Store Reviews (Optional). We offer several channels for contacting us: The contact form on our website, our company mail addresses, our accounts on social media services, and reviews on the App Store or on Setapp. When contacting us, your message will be forwarded and stored by our customer support systems. We store your messages for further reference for two years – Legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Additionally, we are legally required to archive all emails for ten years without having direct access to them – Legal basis Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Please also refer to the privacy statement of any involved third-party service, such as social media services and the App Store.

Cookies Policy for Writingtracker.app

Writing Tracker uses cookies to facilitate users navigation on the site. Session cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your computer or device when you browse the Internet for servers remember certain information that can be used later. This information can identify a particular user anonymously.

If you do not want to store cookies on your device, you can adjust your browser settings. This change will not affect the overall display of Writing Tracker.

Writing Tracker site does not iclude services from other companies that may interact directly with the user and using session cookies or other similar systems.

In compliance with the provisions of Law 15/1999 of December 13, Protection of Personal Data (LOPD) and Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December, which approves the Regulations implementing the Act (hereinafter RDLOPD) Writing Tracker demonstrates its policy regarding the processing and protection of personal data, which shall apply to persons who voluntarily browse and/or comment on our site.

The data collected as a result of browsing will never be used to send commercial information or be transferred to other databases. The user may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, in cases where possible, by sending a message to the email address you will find on the home page or writingtracker.app.

Writingtracker.app warns that unless the existence of a legally constituted representation, any user can use the identity of another person and communicate his or her personal data, so that at all times must be aware that should inform writingtracker.app data match your own personal identity and adequate, relevant, timely, accurate and true.

To this end, the user shall be solely liable for any damages, direct and/or indirect damage caused to third parties or to writingtracker.app by the use of personal data of another person, or their own personal data when they are false, misleading, no current, inadequate or irrelevant. Also the user who provides personal data of a third person will be the responsible to him for the reporting obligation under Article 5.4 of the LOPD when the personal data have not been obtained from that person and/or the consequences of failing to inform him.
